Orion Outdoors Company is family owned-and-operated by Pat Lieske and his son, Drew. Since its founding in 2001, the Lieske’s have built countless public and private shooting ranges across the country including two that they operate themselves in Michigan. Their facilities, collectively known as Michigan Shooting Centers, have hosted countless major championships including more 10+ Michigan State Championships and the U.S. Grand Prix in 2017 .
Both Pat and Drew are accomplished, world renown shooters. Pat won the National Sporting Clays Championship in 2014 and was the first American to podium overseas at a World Sporting Championship (2012). He was inducted into the National Sporting Clays Association Hall of Fame in 2014.
Drew was the youngest Michigander to ever achieve NSCA (National Sporting Clays Association) master class – a feat which he accomplished at the age of 15 in 2010. In 2017, he won the individual collegiate National Championship by a record-setting 13 targets. He has been named to the NSCA All-American team eight times and to the NSCA U.S. Team twice.
Collectively, Pat and Drew have over 50 years of experience building and operating world class shooting facilities. They know shooting like no else. Whether you are looking to turn your property into an exclusive private sporting clays course or into a public shooting ground, we will make your vision a reality. They have provided consulting services on dozens of personal and commercial shooting construction projects. No job too big or too small.
